A Social Media Campaign for the Largest Literary Event

The Challenge

Printers Row Lit Fest is the largest free literary fest in the Midwest. As they were approaching their 40th anniversary, the team was looking for help improving their social media presence and supplying participants with materials they could use to promote the fest and themselves.

The Solutions

JJR hit the ground running and started by creating a three month supply of social media posts that would engage the audience while featuring programs, vendors, and the Printers Row community. We also created a “Marketing Kit” for everyone who were involved with the fest, and included things like hashtags, profile frames, social media postables, and verbiage to use.

The Results

This campaign lasted for just over three months and yielded impressive results that the client was very happy with. Trackable results by the end of this period included:

  • 71,504 viewers Facebook
  • 42,210 viewers on Twitter
  • 9,665 viewers on Instagram
  • 31% growth of followers on Instagram
  • 3.2% growth of followers on Facebook
  • 2.6% growth of followers on Twitter
