THE CHALLENGE

“I hate marketing agencies.” These were the first few words from our client Night Light at our first discovery meeting. Although it might seem funny or even mean now, it has become the cornerstone of our amazing business relationship. JJR Marketing has proven itself to Night Light at every project and initiative, going above the call of duty to demonstrate that marketing agencies can be really incredible to work with. The client oftentimes resorts to sharing this story to illustrate the point that JJR Marketing is different, a company that “listens and gets it.” We have since then created numerous innovative projects that have gotten awards, customer’s positive feedback, raving fans and community involvement. Night Light knows that they have an innovative partner that brings ideas and listens to create unique one-of-a-kind projects. From development of marketing pieces, content, direct campaigns, CRM initiatives to public relations, JJR Marketing has offered an integrated approach to elevate Night Light’s brand in all aspects.

RESULTS FOR THE CLIENT:

  • Created the well-received Bedtime Stories referral program series- something innovative that allowed customers to send referrals to Night Light with pride
  • Develop the unique “Believeisms” – a series of value-added emails sent to customers, prospects and strategic partners on a bi-weekly basis. The series is accompanied by a video link. Night Light wanted a different kind of touchpoint (not promotional or sales-based), and when JJR presented this unique way of showcasing their core values, Night Light fell in love. To date, 79 uniquely-crafted “Believeisms” have been sent for the last 194 weeks.  The database has increased by 30% and the open rates doubled from its inception.
  • Night Light received a unique mini business card holder as an inspiration after we presented the client with a folder mock up of that size. This business card holder has become a talked-about marketing collateral piece that has created business opportunities for both Night Light and JJR Marketing.
  • Created a direct mail campaign targeting country clubs in the Chicagoland area that brought new leads to the company. The campaign included a beautiful downloadable guide as the main focus. Also included a landing page, email blasts and a postcard to their prospects clieints.
