New Personal Branding for Perla Tamez
THE CHALLENGE:
Perla Tamez came to JJR with the vision of having JJR create her personal brand as an international public speaker. Perla has been at the helm of startups ranging from healthcare clinics facilities, staffing professional services, publishing a local magazine, owning a high end furniture store, real estate development, to the import and export of fruits and vegetables. At the impressive age of twenty-one, she founded her first outpatient pediatric clinic, which, over the last eleven years, has grown into one of the largest providers in South Texas. With all of her experiences as an entrepreneur starting at very young age Perla felt that her voice needed to be heard to share her hard- earned knowledge and keys to success. To start her personal brand as public speaker JJR needed to create a logo, website and other branding materials that would align with Perla’s personality.
SOLUTION:
For Perla’s branding, JJR went with a rich gold, and light pink/nude color scheme that expresses her personality. For her logo we created an image that combines the letter “P” plus a lion and a pearl. For her speaker kit we were able to help Perla come up with different speaking topics that she can speak on. Some of those topics are business, motivation, education, and Perla’s Problem-Solving Vision. A partner at JJR was also able to coach Perla on public speaking tactics.
RESULTS:
Perla is thrilled with her new website and overall branding and has booked different speaking engagements around the world. She also had the opportunity to get different media placements and interviews thanks to the press kit we used to pitch her.
